Off The Top Of My Head You know, you know, you know what you know And you feel something real as it tugs at your soul Oh you know, you know, ya you surely do know At least a couple of things well So you go where you go and you know that it’s wrong But you do it anyway because you feel that you don’t belong where you’re at and you’re sad You just figure that you’re bigger than you were before At least that’s what you tell yourself so you can get right through that door for more Oh you know what you know and you know that it’s wrong as hell But you go over still and you spill yourself on the floor You want more, you want more Oh she knows what you know and she gonna keep that to herself Cause she also wants the same damn thing that you keep on bringin’ to her And she knows if she told it to the world it might go away for good And she couldn’t live without that right now Oh I know what I know and you know what I know And we’ll keep what we have under wraps for as long as we can Cause we like this lie that we keep together But it’s taking us apart, piece by piece, day by day And it’s gon’ take us down to the grave one of these days We might need to get gone this lie and find a new way to get by Or the more that we’re takin’ will not take us any higher Ya it’ll take us apart, apart This thing that I know I want it to go I think we should let it fall This thing that you’re keepin’ that I keep on givin’ out I think it needs to fall But I don’t want such a beautiful thing to run away Cause I’m sad, I’m sad, I’m so damn sad I just hope I can make it to you again someday But for now I must go, take this thing I know to the grave I’m gon’ die today, I’m gon’ die today, let it die today, let it die Let it die today, let it die today, let it die...go away…

Short Story Of The Mighty Axe It's all over now, the mighty axe fell Welcome to this temporary hell You'll be prisoner as long as it hurts As long as it breaks you down, as long as it burns Words, words are worth nothing now Not after all the words we spoke that broke us down In a perfect world, this would all be solved In a perfect world, this would all be solved In a perfect world, this would all be solved In a perfect world, this would all....... It would all be solved In a perfect world, this would all be solved The politics would not matter The benefits would pay to save what shattered

This Old Man 04:55
This Old Man This old man, he played one He lost his cool in the blazing sun Over-easy all the way down He hitched a ride on a rain cloud He was just wondering what your name was Forgive that he dropped his jaw and his glass cup I was just overly shocked by The reflection of me in your eyes This old man, he played two He lost his love for a different view He saw what he was meaning to see But lost the person that he used to be This old man fell into the sea To ride the waves as a nobody But it all comes back around Ya, it don't stay kept forever And the fog that was so thick and suffocating It's a pawn that will fall at the hand At the hand of your king This old man broke his back Imagining what he ought to have But that's o.k. because the story goes He just relaxed and got ten-fold He got just what he needed It's not all about perfection To shape a man it takes mistakes and mending The endless drag will not be my ending Oh the endless drag will not be my ending No the endless drag will not be my ending...

Wednesday's Away Honestly, What did you believe was Wednesday's point? Did you think that it would lead some place? Did you know that it would slap you in the face? I bet you weren't expecting that. Wednesday's away, Oh, Wednesday's away... How could you have known that it would be like that? You couldn't have known that it would hurt so bad. You could have died!

Between The Steam Lines The cold got in through an open window In the morning, soft and gray She got up to make her coffee She takes it black, she's sweet already Mr. Newsman, where's the paper? How am I to pass the time? I guess I'll read between the steam lines... For what it's worth, they read the same And after all the black is inside Eyes dilated, body charged She grabs her orange hooded sweatshirt She leaves the kitchen and goes outside Down the alley to the train station Up the stairs, across the bridge Down to the water so full of stories So full of moving mystery The wind won't keep its static voice down The lake like glass in a blender Ain't no water holding focused pictures Trees stripped of summer leaves She plays follow the leader Snakes between the heaving lakes She follows a red leaf to a chain link fence And then climbs over into the cemetery She walks alone down the aisles Of carved stone and towering statues They mark the past that we'll all be a part of Bodies trapped in dirty coffins No more worry, no more breathing No more sadness, no more pain She takes off her hooded sweatshirt To feel the cold pouring rain, rain, rain, rain

An Open Case 03:47
An Open Case An open case, An empty carrier for the lover that holds me whenever I need her to So for a moment I forget life's sad As I bleed from my fingers the worries I had Oh it all gets so heavy and more so when you are not here I meant what I said, every word of it, world The flat mediocre is crushing my shoulders I need to feel the rain on my face The look upon your face is hidden in a the bedroom not too far away I'll be there someday, I know But for now I must go, I must just go to sleep So that I can wake up for work tomorrow And I'm not late, oh it's important baby

Darling ~ (bonus track) Darling I really like your make-up I'm not talkin' bout mascara I like what your mind's made of Your personality Oh and you're pretty Pretty swell for an actress Reaching deep to wow us Keeping up the drama Weeping like you're not wrong Oh who am I kidding? This song is me bidding You farewell my dear Darling I really hate to leave you But that is what I must do I can stay no longer Darling sadly it's over
